Hi there like alot of pike anglers i buy and make my own wire traces rather than buying ready made ones and was wondering what length other anglers make there's
I make mine approx arms length at around 26 inch with size 8 and 10 (semi barbles on top) hooks set apart depending on the size size bait.

i make mines up the same way.
i also prefer to use crimps instead of twisting the wire |

I also use crimps, i tend to stick to around 18 inches, never had any bother. If using paternostered baits i tend to use an uptrace. |
